Martin 4 Congress

The House of Representatives has 435 members, each representing a district in one of the 50 states, with the number of representatives determined by the state’s population. The Senate, on the other hand, has 100 members, with two senators representing each state, regardless of its population. This structure is established by Article I, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, which states that “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."

 Congress is the legislative branch of the federal government of the United States, responsible for making the laws of the land. It is a bicameral legislature, composed of two houses: the House of Representatives and the Senate. The main purpose of Congress is to represent the interests of the people and to provide a system of checks and balances on the other branches of government, the executive and judicial branches.

The beautiful Jenica Martin is a former candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Maryland’s 1st Congressional District. She ran as a member of the Libertarian Party and participated in the 2018 elections. Although she campaigned vigorously, she lost in the general election held on November 6, 2018.  Background and Biography Jenica Martin has been actively involved in community service, particularly through her volunteer work with the National CASA Association, where she serves as a court-appointed special advocate.
